I won 2nd place in the Lakeland Community College Poetry Competition, and placed in the top 10 in the Best Cleveland Poem Competition. It was fun getting up in front of the crowd at the Willoughby Brewing Company to read about going to the last game at the Muni stadium with Dad. We all sung “Na-na-na-na … hey hey hey, goodbye” (whatever the hell that song’s called).
